Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Telecommunications Construction Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the telecommunications industry, with a focus on construction and deployment of network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of telecommunications construction projects from initiation to completion.
Adhere to timelines.
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project deliverables are met according to specifications and quality standards.
Monitor and track project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management.
Foster positive relationships with clients and owner and address any concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into project execution.
Qualifications
Background in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field helpful.
Proven experience in telecommunications project management, with a focus on construction and deployment of network infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of telecommunications technologies, equipment, and standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications a plus
Valid driver's license with clean record and willingness to travel as needed.
Be able to pass background check, have a clean driving record and be able to pass drug/alcohol screening.
Occasional prevailing wage work is available.
