The Role
As an LTL Dispatcher at Driven Group, you will serve as the primary link between drivers, clients, and
our operations team. You’ll be responsible for scheduling and monitoring routes, resolving issues in real
time, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations. This role requires strong communication skills, quick
decision-making, and the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Schedule and dispatch drivers, optimizing routes for cost, time, and service efficiency
● Act as the main point of contact for drivers and clients, providing real-time updates and resolving
issues
● Monitor shipments and driver progress using GPS and dispatch software
● Manage delays, breakdowns, weather disruptions, and emergency situations
What You Bring
● Experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation (LTL strongly preferred)
● Strong knowledge of Northeast/Tristate routes and trucking geography
● Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tools, and communication platforms
● Solid understanding of DOT regulations and hours-of-service laws
● Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
● Ability to perform under pressure and adapt quickly to operational changes
● Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays as operational demands
require
● Reliable internet and computer access (required for remote roles)
● Nice to Have: Spanish fluency, experience with fleet management software, or freight brokerage
knowledge
