The ideal candidate will have a solid background in warehouse operations, with specific expertise in shipping processes through Warehouse Management Systems.
Job Description:
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, particularly in managing outbound shipments via our Warehouse Management System (WMS). Your primary responsibilities will include:
Coordinating all outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivery.
Utilizing our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage inventory, pick orders, and generate shipping labels.
Collaborating with logistics team members to optimize shipping processes and minimize errors.
Monitoring shipment schedules and proactively addressing any delays or issues.
Conducting regular audits of inventory and shipping records to maintain data integrity.
Assisting in the training of warehouse staff on WMS usage and best practices.
Communicating with carriers and freight forwarders to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
Resolving any discrepancies or issues related to outbound shipments.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with a focus on outbound shipping.
Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for managing inventory and processing shipments.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain precise shipping records.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment (preferred but not required).
