In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall safety of the site, its employees, show guests and audience members. You are a hands-on manager with strong leadership skills.Responsibilities:Oversee emergency evacuation procedures, active shooter training, and threat assessmentsServe as a strong leader and mentor to the guard staff while managing the guard force during your tourOversee the training of the different areas of responsibilities for the guardsVerify that the process of loading and unloading live studio audiences is consistent with our standard.Verify that security devices and equipment are accounted for and in proper working orderProper documentation of all incidentsInitiate preliminary investigations of incidents that may occur on your tourServe as security point of contact during your tourUse of highly developed critical thinking skills to adapt adjusting security posture in real time.Flexible working on holidays and extended hoursProvide security escorts for talent off propertyPerform Risk Assessments and Security Plan for special events and remote shootsAbility and willingness to travel nationally/internationally with Today Show for remote shoots.Effective supervision of contracted security during daily production and large-scale events.
