AECOM is currently seeking a PMIS Implementation Specialist to join our  New York Metro Team.Responsibilities include but are not limited to :Proven track record of translating business and project requirements into PMIS configurations, including workflows, custom fields, templates, reports, and automations.Experience in the construction, engineering, or capital projects industry, ideally with public-sector/government projectsDemonstrated success leading or supporting PMIS implementations, including setup, data migration, template development, and user adoption.Deep expertise in PMIS environment wide administration and implementation:Configuring advanced settings for process, app, tools (e.g., Budget, Change Orders, Commitments, Submittals, Documents, Drawings, RFIs, Daily Logs, Inspections, Punch List, etc.).Creating and managing configurable fieldsets, custom fields, cost codes, WBS, classifications, and templates.Designing and implementing company/project-level workflows, permission templates, and automation rules.User and access management: Directory management, permission templates, roles, and security/compliance configurations (especially important for government or secure projects).Data management: Imports/exports, templates, document controls, and best practices for data standards/governanceStrong business analysis and communication: Ability to gather/interpret requirements from stakeholders (PMs, executives, field teams), document them clearly, and explain technical configurations to non-technical users.Problem-solving and troubleshooting: Quick resolution of configuration issues, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Training and change management: Experience creating SOPs, user guides, and delivering training sessions.Ability to work independently in a hands-on capacity while collaborating with teams, developers (for advanced custom work), and vendors.
