Position Purpose:We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Project Engineer to join our energy services NYC team. In this role, you will be responsible for the survey, design, installation oversight, and commissioning of metering equipment and data gathering hardware. You will oversee contractor work during critical project phases, provide technical support for build and assembly activities, and conduct system commissioning, start-ups, and training while identifying continuous improvement opportunities.Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Commission and start-up utility-grade metering equipment.Engineer and design new or modified advanced metering systems to meet customer objectives.Review project, equipment, and proposed design plans for specification compliance.Conduct on-site surveys and walkthroughs with operating personnel, contractors, and engineering teams.Perform lab testing for process troubleshooting and optimization.Manage multiple projects simultaneously over extended periods.Troubleshoot, inspect, and rebuild existing equipment in field environments.Prepare technical documentation, procedures, internal memoranda, and reports in a timely manner.Oversee contractor work during specific project phases and provide technical support.
