The position reports to a Vice President within the Corporate Events Department. At NBCUniversal, you’ll have opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact alongside some of the industry’s most talented professionalsHere you can:Event Leadership & ExecutionLead mid-sized programs from initial planning through on-site execution and post-event reconciliationContribute to larger-scale and high-profile events in partnership with senior team members, owning specific workstreams, logistics, vendors, or operational components within the broader programOversee all aspects of assigned events, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, run-of-show development, premium sourcing and inventory management, guest experience, and on-site logisticsPartner closely with internal stakeholders and clients throughout the planning and execution process, facilitating meetings and ensuring clear communication and follow-throughInterface directly with clients and C-suite executives with professionalism and discretionDevelop and track event budgets, process invoices, and support post-event reconciliationNegotiate contracts, track deliverables, and maintain detailed production timelinesCoordinate event registration, attendee communications, and guest management to ensure a seamless experienceProduce or oversee the creation of digital and printed event materials in collaboration with vendors and internal/external partnersTravel domestically and internationally to execute and support eventsProvide on-site support across the department’s broader event portfolio as neededTeam Collaboration & Department SupportProvide guidance and day-to-day direction to Managers, Associates, Coordinators, Pages, and project-based team members assigned to eventsFoster a collaborative and supportive working environment while helping junior team members strengthen their event management skillsPartner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams on complex programs and department initiativesContribute to operational improvements, internal processes, and shared departmental resourcesMaintain awareness of emerging trends across hospitality, food and beverage, entertainment, sports, venues, experiential marketing, and premium gifting
