Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the industrial cleaning industry, located in Fairfield, New Jersey. The role includes processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and efficiently managing customer inquiries. You will be responsible for overseeing customer accounts and taking necessary action when needed. Responsibilities: Accurately processing invoices and performing data entry tasks. Managing accounts payable and account reconciliation duties. Effectively coding invoices and conducting check runs. Using Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks. Regularly overseeing customer accounts and taking appropriate actions. Keeping accurate and current customer credit records. Addressing customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner. Overseeing all aspects of customer applications, from processing to follow-up. Requirements Proficient in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. Solid experience in Accounts Payable (AP), with the ability to manage and track all expenses and payments. Familiarity with Check Runs, ensuring all checks are correctly issued and recorded. Skilled in Coding Invoices, with a keen eye for detail to prevent errors and discrepancies. Strong Data Entry skills, with the ability to accurately input a high volume of information in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Invoice Processing, with the ability to manage, track, and pay invoices on time. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of creating, updating, and maintaining spreadsheets. Experience with Oracle, demonstrating strong database management skills. Familiarity with QuickBooks, capable of managing financial data and creating reports. Experience with SAP, demonstrating the ability to handle complex business processes and operations.
