Deloitte & Touche LLP seeksa Advisory Senior Consultantin Parsippany, NJ.Work You ll DoAssist in documenting approach for audit support activities. Facilitate the design of test cases for defined test scenarios and validation of results. Participate in the execution of assigned work threads and assist in documenting findings. Understand engagement as it relates to client's business. Participate in discussions with client to obtain clarifications and review findings. Assume responsibility for small components of engagements. Contribute to engagement planning and ensuring that products/deliverables meet contract/work plan. Write various reports related to engagements. Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel. Deliver services that meet task leader specifications. Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability.#LI-DNIRequirements
Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
Eighteen months of experience performing audits for clients in the life sciences industry.
Experience must include eighteen months of:
Evaluating controls to ensure compliance with life science and health care regulations, including FDA and FCPA regulations;
Assessing regulatory and pharma code compliance within international operations;
Evaluating client compliance with the Federal health care program Anti-Kickback Statute;
Assessing controls to ensure compliance with the Sunshine Act (HCP) according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS ) requirements;
Assessing controls for commercial and non-commercial interaction with Health Care Professionals and evaluating promotional activity within international commercial operations for life science;
Planning projects, preparing project timelines, and participating in follow-up meetings with clients, partners, and managers;
Performing risk assessments and reviews, gathering information, assisting with the design of remediation activities, monitoring the design and implementation of risk-focused operational efficiency controls, and presenting testing results and recommendations to clients and senior management; and
Performing control assessments for SOX readiness and SOX attestation projects.
Position requires 25% travel.
