JOB SUMMARY:The IT Director of Infrastructure Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of Securitas IT infrastructure across the Americas. This position requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of operations and service delivery, proven experience in managing and leading geographically dispersed teams, and a strategic mindset to align IT initiatives with overall business goals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The functions listed describe the business purpose of this job or position. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, associates are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representatives.Strategic Planning, Execution, and Governance: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy in alignment with the company's overall strategic objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to define technology roadmaps, ensuring infrastructure capabilities meet current and future business needs. Ensure infrastructure operations comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.Team Leadership and Development: Lead a high-performing Service Delivery Management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and career growth.Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions, encompassing on-premises and cloud environments. Ensure the availability, performance, and resilience of critical IT systems and services.Operations Management: Establish and enforce operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent and efficient infrastructure operations. Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies.Vendor Management and Partnerships: Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and technology partners to negotiate contracts, evaluate emerging technologies, and drive innovation. Ensure vendor relationships align with business objectives and deliver value to the organization.Budget Management and Financial Planning: Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources. Provide financial forecasts and reports to executive leadership, highlighting key investment areas.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position. A minimum of 10+ years overall experience with 5+ years proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing IT infrastructure operations. Deep technical expertise in infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to servers, networks, storage, and cloud services. Strong leadership and people management skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams. Experience in strategic planning, budget management, and vendor negotiations. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are highly desirable.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus. A minimum of 10+ years overall experience with 5+ years proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing IT infrastructure operations.COMPETENCIES: (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing): Strong leadership and people management skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions.
