Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator near Parsippany New Jersey. The selected candidate will be tasked with handling payroll processing for about 150 employees through Paylocity, managing data entries related to payroll, and maintaining employee records. The role also includes the administration of employee 401k enrollment, conducting onboarding for new hires, and collaborating in HR processes and projects.Responsibilities: Administer semi-monthly payroll processing through Paylocity, ensuring employees receive their wages on time Handle data entry tasks related to payroll, such as updates on new hires, terminations, benefits adjustments, and tax information Oversee the maintenance of electronic employee personnel files and documentation, ensuring current and accurate records Conduct 401k enrollment for employees, ensuring all details are correctly captured Manage onboarding processes for new hires, including the completion of I-9 forms and the setup of payroll access Coordinate activities for new employee onboarding, such as first-day orientation, payroll and benefits portal training, and job-specific onboarding training Participate in the updating of the employee handbook, ensuring it aligns with current company policies and legal requirements Support HR processes and projects as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the department Organize employee engagement activities and company-wide events to foster team spirit and enhance morale Prepare documentation for internal and external audits as needed, ensuring all information is accurate and timely Maintain compliance with company policies and legal requirements, ensuring the organization of paper and electronic files.Requirements Candidates applying to this position are required to have the following:

Associates degree at a minimum, bachelors in HR highly preferred but not required

MUST have 3-5 years of experience processing payroll through Paylocity

person should have a passion for HR as this role will evolve from Payroll to Payroll & Human Resources
