Job Title: Facilities EngineerDescription: Lead diagnosing and troubleshooting of complex mechanical/electrical problems and determine corrective measures by referring to blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, parts catalogs, etc. as necessary. Recommends production/process equipment or fixtures for purchase based on their ability to meet organizational needs. Perform root cause/failure analysis and develop recommendations to prevent reoccurrence. Develop/manage reliability plans that represent the expected life and operational conditions of equipment. Ensure CMMS is accurately maintained and remains compliant to SOPs. Develop and manage equipment reliability metrics via the CMMS. Manage the organization/filing of internal/external service documentation. Assist with the development and maintenance of facility 5-year plans. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Ability to be on-call 24/7 for complex facility issues Ensure all activities are carried out per site SOPs (i.e. MOCs, project close out forms, etc.) Manage all aspects of project execution including safety, risk, scope, cost, schedule, quality, and change management. Estimates project costs related to layout design, equipment/material/labor/etc. Communicate effectively with peers, other organizations, project stakeholders, and project sponsors. This includes project status and performance updates to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure project deliverables are being met on cost, schedule and with particular attention that the technical scope meets its objectives.Skills:project management, Design, Manufacturing, Reliability engineering, hvac, preventive maintenanceAdditional Skills & Qualifications:BA degree in engineering related field4+ years working as a facilities engineer in a regulated environment3+ years executing change control documentsExperience with water systems, boilers, refrigeration, environmentally controlled storage rooms, chemical storage tanks, mixers, pumps, process sensors (temperature, level, flow, pH, etc.) and other facility infrastructure systems (i.e., building management systems).About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
