job detailsWe're looking for a Quality Technician/Quality Control to lead and drive the day to day with the review of materials and to ensure that all materials meet the quality required by the client. The technician will focus on Indentifying and escalating quality issues in an manufacturing environment. Focus on daily auditing processes, route causes and documentation of issues. Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word) is preferred This is a full time long term temp to hire position Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm, 40 hours a week $16 an hour ($24 an hour overtime) Immediate hire. 401k, Paid Sick Time, Vacation, Medical Benefits, Parkingsalary: $15.5 - $16 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 9 AM - 6 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilities

Perform Daily Audits for Quality and Compliance

Monitor all production areas for customer requirements, proper SOP, tool compliance and other process & quality issues. Primary focus is in Server Build.

Report feedback of any quality or compliant issues to quality engineers

Support root cause analysis of any quality issues

Communicate with Manufacturing Engineering Team or Training Team if additional tools, resources, or training is required for the production team

Ensure all tools and resources are in working order

Identify potential issues and drive preventative actions on a real-time basis Ensure corrective actions affecting product damages are completed on a timely basis Perform pilot build inspection for each new product SKU Conduct daily/weekly/monthly spot audits to find and document non-conformances and drive initial feedback to leads Create specific SKU audit checklists based on known issues from vendor or customer feedback, or internal investigations

Manage/escalate issues impacting quality and communicate to In-Process Quality Control inspectors, leads and Supervisor / managers

Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task

Attention to details with high focus on Quality and Process / Product Improvement

Possess a high level of integrity and good work ethic

Ability to communicate issues verbally and in writing to all levels of employees
