Job SummaryThe Solutions Architect is a strategic member of our IT Department. They will deeply understand the solutions and capabilities of a large enterprise environment. This role is a consultative partner for our internal stakeholders, focusing on understanding their goals and strategies and mapping solutions to business outcomes. The Solutions Architect is responsible for using their knowledge of software programs and business strategies to help maximize productivity and communication. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement solutions. ResponsibilitiesInclude, but not limited to:
Demonstrates leadership to ensure that transformation solutions recommendations are comprehensive and meet business objectives.
Engage with multiple layers of contacts within the organization to gain insights into the environment.
Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
Develop cross-functional strategies and solutions.
Translates business and technical objectives into prioritized, phased solutions.
Oversee and facilitate the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards.
Provide technology/architecture recommendations based on business relevance, appropriate timing and deployment.
Keep the portfolio current, driving the retirement of legacy solutions/technologies.
Contribute to the design of operational processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance with policies and security requirements.
Stay current with new technologies and frameworks and recommend adopting new partners or solution components.
Builds current and future state integration diagrams and views.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant work experience required
10+ years of experience in Software Development, Solutions Architectecture, Solutions Engineering, or Business Systems Analysis
5+ years of experience with Application Development and Modernization
Required Skills
Core Development Skills: C#, SQL, JSON, REST API, GitHub (including Actions), Jenkins, Jira.
Designing and supporting multi-tier applications and cloud-based architectures.
Designed and implemented large-scale API & Service bus-based integrations.
Expertise in API scalability, reliability, availability, security, and governance needs.
Implemented API management infrastructure and understands productization of
Implemented API-based workflows and composite APIs.
Expertise in diagramming tools (Visio/LucidChart).
Ability to analyze requirements, recommend technical solutions and write technical specifications.
Ability to efficiently work with executives and internal stakeholders.
Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
Project management and leadership skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to translate goals and strategies into business solutions.
Preferred Skills
Cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS).
Experience with Azure API Management and Azure API gateway.
Integration of APIs with service bus, data lake, SaaS, and PaaS components.
Hands-on experience with API design tools.
Message-based and event-driven architectures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with iterative and test-driven development practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong understanding of Agile practices, including Scrum.

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $200,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual
