Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Daycare Assistant to support our team in providing exceptional care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to helping them develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children aged [insert ages, e.g., 2-5 years].
- Create a safe and engaging environment that promotes learning and development.
- Support educational activities and playtime, encouraging exploration and creativity.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and daily activities.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience working with children (in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting). Personal experience, such as babysitting siblings or family members, will not be considered as professional experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a consistent positive energy.
- A genuine love for children and a commitment to their growth and development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a family-like atmosphere.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Background check required.
