Experience in luxury retail sales is a MUST
Availability to work weekends is a MUST during the months of January thru May
Sunny and upbeat personality
A strong sense of style and well-versed in current couture fashion
Self-motivated (competitive hourly rate + bonuses)
Understanding of relationship-building sales approach
Bridal industry experience a PLUS if interested in our bridal sales position
Ability to work with others in a professional environment
Consistently meet and or exceed sales goals by selling the complete wedding (from bridal gown, veil, headpiece, jewelry).
Develop and maintain expert-level product knowledge, awareness of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace and industry.
Utilize bridal and evening customer book to maintain a relationship with the bride as asked by the company standards.
Manage the bride’s and mother-of's order and proactively communicate status to the bride and mother-of.
Be knowledgeable about systems and ordering process.
Have knowledge of company policies and procedures as they apply on and off the selling floor.
Support your fellow sales team. Be open to feedback from management to improve personal productivity
Demonstrate ability to take action and be a problem solver.
Practice and demonstrate knowledge of alterations and the role this department plays in the closing of the sale.
Support salon with non-selling responsibilities including representing Jan's Boutique at potential outreach events, receiving merchandise, steaming dresses and visual merchandising.
Maintain and partake in customer-readiness of the salon including dressing rooms, and sales floor. Assist with cleaning duties such as vacuuming, and windexing to maintain our high standards.
Attend and participate in daily meetings. Share feedback.
Demonstrate a professional fashion savvy appearance following dress code guidelines.
