We are on the lookout for a Technical Delivery Lead. Our technical delivery leads work with our product, project and UI/UX teams to design and deliver technical solutions for our clients. Coming from a software engineering background, the technical delivery leads are stepping up into project co-ordination and architecture from hands-on implementation roles and engineering management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical solutions/architecture, particularly in delivering customer-facing digital products while collaborating with UI/UX, product, and technical teams.A background in consulting is ideal, demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to design and implement solutions across various technologies is essential. Proficiency in cloud-native backend development using Azure and AWS, coupled with a strong understanding of digital channels (mobile, web, and portals), is required.Key ResponsibilitiesStakeholder ManagementCollaborate with senior business leaders, product managers, designers, and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.Serve as the primary technical contact for stakeholders, managing discussions and decision-making to ensure expectations are met.Architecture & DiscoveryLead the discovery and design of greenfield solutions, evaluating technologies, frameworks, and architectures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Develop solution designs that address business needs, prioritising scalability, performance, and security.Guide technical teams in adopting best practices in architecture and development to align with organisational standards and technology strategies.Coordinate with product, UI/UX, and technical implementation teams to ensure seamless platform design and delivery.Technical DocumentationCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, integration architecture, and API specifications.Ensure documentation is clear, detailed, and accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Review and refine technical documentation as part of governance processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and policies.Technology LeadershipDesign and implement solutions leveraging Azure and AWS backend services, ensuring optimal use of cloud resources for reliability and scalability.Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to influence technical decisions and innovations.
