Position Overview: The Rescue Mission of Trenton is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager of Financial Empowerment to join our team. As part of our Client Financial Empowerment Team, the position partners with our Financial Empowerment Coach, and our Vocational Team. The Case Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting clients as they incorporate financial empowerment education into their recovery journey. This position is essential in helping clients transition into sober and self-reliant living by providing personalized financial plans, education, and navigation services. Key Responsibilities of the Position: Collaborate and TrainSuccessful candidates will have experience collaborating with an internal team such as our Client Financial Empowerment Team to integrate financial education into recovery and life skills programs. They will be comfortable providing one-on-one and group financial education sessions where they will emphasize budgeting, saving, and credit management.Planning and Advocacy Qualified candidates will be able to develop individualized financial empowerment plans tailored to clients’ unique needs and circumstances while acting as a guide and advocate, connecting clients with financial resources, tools, and community services. They will serve as an ambassador for financial empowerment in achieving long-term recovery and self-reliance.Progress Evaluation The ideal candidate will be able to monitor client progress and provide ongoing support to ensure sustainable growth and independence. They will maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in social work, finance, counseling, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience in case management, financial education, or related areas.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and support diverse populations.

Knowledge of recovery programs and understands challenges faced by those transitioning to self-sufficiency.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Hourly Rate: $22.85 Monday - Friday 8a-4p, plus a comprehensive benefit and training package Why Join Us?
