Description Robert Half is working on an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner to support multiple facilities in the Northen NJ Area. This role will implement and manage a wide variety of HR related duties including policies, practices, and programs to support staffing, employee relations, benefits, and compensation administration, and performance management. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides effective guidance and coaching to Plant Leadership.

Manages the implementation, interpretation and administration of established HR policies and programs; assist in keeping employees informed of HR policies; counsel with and coach employees and management of HR policies, performance, complaints, and other matters.

Manages cost effective recruitment and selection activities for hourly and salaried positions.

Plans and coordinates new employee onboarding to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.

Analyzes and prepares HR reports concerning personnel related data such as hires, turnover, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.

Manages salary administration programs including merit increases, promotions, performance appraisals, etc.; maintain all related records.

Manages and coordinates separations from employment. Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.

Conducts investigations into employee complaints and/or harassment allegations

Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality.

Must be able to travel 5-10% of the time

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

5-7 years of solid professional HR generalist experience

Manufacturing/Distribution experience required

Strong organizational skills (planning, priority setting, getting things done)

Strong logical thinking skills

Strong analytical thinking

Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

Solid team player (humble, hungry & smart)

Multi-language proficiency (in particular Spanish)

Growth mindset (thirst for learning, acquiring new skills/experiences, etc.)

Bilingual (Spanish)
