Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Distribution industry, located in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be part of a dynamic team, ensuring smooth financial operations by managing invoice processing, account reconciliation, and customer interactions.Responsibilities: Efficiently and accurately processing invoices Handling internal and external inquiries via email related to accounts payable Maintaining and updating customer credit records with precision Working with software tools like Oracle and the company's internal software for data management Executing tasks related to general ledger work, journal entries, and schedules Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action based on account status Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various functions and formulas to ensure seamless operations.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations is mandatory. Familiarity with Oracle software is required. Experience in invoice processing is necessary. Ability to perform account reconciliation is a must. Background in the wholesale distribution industry is desirable. Strong numerical and analytical skills are crucial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is expected. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively is vital. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary. High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Basic knowledge of financial regulations and legislation is beneficial.
