Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Compliance Analyst in the banking industry based in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The Sr. Compliance Analyst will perform compliance reviews, maintain banking records, ensure adherence to regulations, and recommend process changes. This role will be a contract opportunity with a hybrid onsite schedule. Prior experience with consumer banking compliance is required.Responsibilities Implement steps to align current state processes with regulatory guidance in collaboration with the Chief Compliance Officer Effectively document and communicate report results, providing recommendations Assist the Chief Compliance Officer with policy and procedure implementation, systems, training, and controls to mitigate risk Handle follow up with shared services business units and other functions on items as directed by the Chief Compliance Officer Participate in the administrative functions of the Compliance Department, including assisting with regulatory and internal exams, due diligence requests, and customer complaints Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and special requests, including data gathering and production of board and committee materials. Utilize Salesforce platform for operations and customer relationship management Ensure effective management of multiple projects and priorities, demonstrating excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Requirements Proven experience in the banking industry, particularly in a compliance or regulatory role. Strong understanding and knowledge of banking compliance and regulations. Proficiency in using Salesforce Platform for managing compliance-related tasks. Demonstrated ability in Compliance Management, including the development and implementation of compliance programs. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations to business operations. Advanced communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain compliance requirements to non-compliance staff. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on regulations and risk assessments. Bachelor's degree in finance, law, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in compliance, such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), would be advantageous.
