Description The Program Manager Global Industry Event Operations is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of Tier 1 third-party and proprietary events within the Global Industry Events portfolio which represents the most complex highest-investment industry events for the company. The role will be the project support on multiple events simultaneously and will meet with Product Marketing Field Marketing Product Development Field Sales and other internal stakeholders to evaluate event objectives and then execute on all aspects of the event lifecycle including pre-event planning day-of event support and post-event follow-up. This position will have a vested interest in more than simply planning an event but in embracing the latest best practices and tools to build meaningful customer engagement. The individual hired for this role with bring a history of successful end-to-end event delivery as well as an understanding of the systems and processes necessary to execute a world-class experience.Responsibilities-Support all event logistics in planning and executing events primarily third-party including sponsorship and contract negotiation budget management and POs booth design and production ad hoc event activities content and messaging liaison branding/creative liaison AV requirements and setup FB requirements and setup giveaways booth setup and teardown vendor staffing.-Collaborate across a global team including partnering with colleagues and vendors across regions to support and execute high-profile programs.-Demonstrate proficiency in cross-functional project management and delivery of outstanding customer event experiences end-to-end.-Build and maintain strong positive working relationships with members of the extended Marketing team and other stakeholders to execute event-related marketing activities across disciplines.-Execute event experiences on budget and on time.-Process required documentation contracts POs invoices etc. and system entries/updates calendars project management tools etc. for all activities on time and in compliance with policies and regulations.-Communicate timely and professionally of project status and updates and provide prompt notification of any required adjustments or concerns regarding timing budgets and other event details.-Use multiple proprietary systems and other applications e.g. Zoom Excel Word MRM CXD etc. to produce events communications reports etc.Requirements Demonstrable experience in a Project Management role Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to handle documentation processes efficiently Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Experience in Marketing and Operations Strong planning and organizational skills Familiarity with policy and compliance procedures Experience with invoice and budget processes Design skills would be an advantage Knowledge of Project Management methodologies Experience in managing contracts Familiarity with the software 'About Time' and Workstation Support Production management experience Experience dealing with vendors and managing regulations Calendar management skills Proven ability to act as a liaison between different parties Experience in staffing processes Ability to work with stakeholders effectively Proficiency in Oracle software Ability to execute projects as per plan.
