PORTER/ LOT ATTENDANT:
High Desert Auto Wholesale is a very busy, Locally Owned and Operated Automotive in Albuquerque, NM.
We have a Car Porter/ Runner position open that we are looking to fill immediately.
Car Porter Responsibilities:
▪ Driving and handling all cars responsibly to ensure damage prevention, and protecting repair facility/ dealership/ customer property at all times,
▪ Accounting for all cars on the lot,
▪ Pulling customer cars around for them as needed,
▪ Keeping the parking lot, office, and repair shop clean and tidy,
▪ Keeping the bathrooms stocked and clean,
▪ May be required to assist in loading/ unloading/ organizing inventory,
▪ Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs,
▪ Driving off-site to run repair shop errands when required,
▪ Moving cars between the dealership display area, repair facility, storage facility, and the pick-up/ drop-off point,
▪ Applicant will be required to complete other tasks as needed,
▪ Must be able to show up to work on time, ready to work, and will be expected to maintain a professional appearance.
▪ Must be available to work 40 hours per week.
Suitable applicant will have their own mode of transportation, will pass a background check, will be ready and willing to learn new tasks, and will be able and willing to follow our company policies and procedures.
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required.
PAY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE. We offer paid holidays, sick leave and healthcare benefits.
