Small business in Bernalillo, NM, looking to hire a full-time, admin/customer service assistant, M-F, 8-5. Bi-lingual Spanish/English required. Position works directly with customers and employees. Knowledge of construction/lumber industries welcomed, but not required. Admin support role to owner. Will train the right candidate.
The admin/customer service assistant will work directly with the owner to facilitate sales & orders, translate Spanish to English, answer phones, respond to customer questions/concerns and run errands as needed.
Ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Basic math skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Demonstrates initiative in learning the ins and outs of the business
