Northridge Electric a Division of Burgos Group, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to provide electrical services with specific responsibilities for installing, repairing and/or replacing fire alarm systems and related equipment.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes blueprints, schematics, and drawings of fire alarm and/or other related electrical system to determine the efficient installation of new or upgraded systems.
Coordinates with assigned Foreman and/or other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
Diagnoses causes of electrical problems or failures in assigned systems.
Inspects electrical/fire alarm systems and their components.
Installs electrical system components.
Maintains vehicle, tools and test equipment.
Prepares written materials to document activities
Responds to emergency situations during and after hours as assigned.
Qualifications Include:
High School Diploma or GED
Have three (3) years of previous electrical experience
Positively identify colors of wires
Comprehends drawing and reading blueprints and schematics.
Ability to use power and hand tools.
Working knowledge of applicable electrical and design codes.
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Good communication, both oral and written, skills.
Required: Valid Drivers License.
Position requires ability to perform services throughout the state of New Mexico, including possible overnight travel
Awareness of operational safety requirements in work environment and ability to apply and follow procedures and requirements per regulations.
Should be customer-service driven.
