Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityThe Faculty of Science is seeking an experienced and motivated Academic Services Manager to join our professional services team.This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and organised leader who can not only deliver on the operational aspects of the role but who also has demonstrated experience in leading a diverse team and supporting the Faculty of Science in delivering high-quality academic and student services to students, faculty members, and staff.This is a professional staff leadership position responsible for overseeing a wide range of administrative and operational functions, including, student support services, academic compliance and developing and driving strategy while building successful relationships across the Faculty and services such as Student Hubs, the School of Graduate Studies and central Student and Academic Services to ensure our students receive a seamless and holistic service while at University.The successful candidate will be a proactive and results-oriented individual with a strong background in academic administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with academic staff and students.This position will be reporting directly to the Director of Faculty Operations.This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent position.Remuneration is between $96,800 - $113,840 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.For more detailed information, please refer to the Position Description He kōrero mōu | About youTo be considered for this position, our ideal candidate will bring: Significant experience from a similar management role, where you led a team, implemented strategies and displayed operational planning. Experience in working with and understanding the needs of a diverse range of stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Demonstrated skills and experience in team building, change management and working collaboratively. Confidence in financial acumen, reporting and providing insights.
