o And much more…Position Summary Lead the work of Medical Assistants and others in the clinical operation of a patient care setting. Perform duties required to assist providers in the examination and treatment of patients, such as preparation of the patient and environment, conducting basic specimen collection and assist in office procedures, care of the patient post-treatment, patient education, and clerical reception functions. Minimum Qualifications o Minimum Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
o Minimum Experience:Three (3) years experience working as a Medical Assistant providing direct patient care in a health care setting. Medical terminology, computer knowledge required.
o Certification/Licensure:Possess a current MA certification.For New hires: Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.If currently certified, must maintain current certification.
