Position Summary Provides program leadership within the cardiac service line to promote excellence in cardiac patient care. Coordinates, plans and maintain all services required for an organized, multidisciplinary approach to caring for the cardiology patient. Abstractor is the Chest Pain coordinator and the Cardiovascular Data Abstractor.Minimum Qualifications
o Minimum Education:Associate’s degree in nursing - Required.Graduate of a School of Nursing program or Associates of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology with relevant experience.
o Minimum Experience:Five (5) years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
o Certification/Licenses:Basic Life Support (BLS) required.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).ACLS is required for all areas where moderate sedation is performed. Current NM RN license or compact RN license required or current ARRT Registry and current NM RTR license.
New Hires: Required certification must be obtained within one year of employment. If currently certified, must maintain current certification.
