What You Will DoThe Physical Security Systems (SEC-PSS) group maintains the badge readers, security cameras, and intrusion detection systems across the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Department of Energy site. The Argus system is a network based distributed computerized control system with significant security and reliability features. As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the completion of daily activities involving the Operations support activities of the Argus security system.What You NeedMinimum Job Requirements:

Experience leading to include directing assignments, assuring training and development, monitoring performance, ensuring staff development and team building.

In-depth knowledge of DOE 473.1A as it affects Security Systems to ensure security systems are in compliance.

Skill in preparing and presenting oral and written reports to a diverse audience including managers within and outside the organization.

Experience participating in strategic planning, the development of performance objectives, and meeting related milestones.

Experience managing, tracking / trending, determining mean time to repair, and providing feedback for maintenance work orders.

Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of relevant experience; or, an equivalent combination of education andDesired Qualifications:

Experience with the Argus security system.

Experience with excel worksheets and report generation.

Knowledge and experience with Physical Security Systems processes including the ability to interpret, and evaluate alarm data.

Experience in conducting False and Nuisance assessments.

Work Environment:Work Location: The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM.
