OverviewAdvanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a remote Project Manager (Communications Specialist 2) to support our team a the Los Alamos National Laboratory.Essential Functions and Job ResponsibilitiesProject Manager, Web & UI/UX: Support and lead projects within our web and UI/UX teams. Work with staff across all the roles within a web development team. Collaborate with hybrid and remote staff across time zones and help manage projects from start to finish to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables. Project Coordination: Organize and help track web and UI/UX projects. Scheduling & Forecasting: Update schedules and forecasts; coordinate across teams. Scope Management: Work with team leads to define and manage project scope. Status Reporting: Track project status, address issues, assess risks, and recommend solutions. Tool Utilization: Use Asana/Jira to track progress and assign tasks. Meetings & Task Delegation: Schedule and lead meetings such as daily standups and weekly project check-ins, to review and update statuses and delegate tasks.Minimum Requirements Required: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field providing strong project management expertise; equivalent education and experience may be considered. 5+ years in project management related to software development, UI/UX, accessibility and/or SEO. Project Management Expertise: Proficient in tools, techniques, and best practices, with experience in planning, and performance measurement for web projects. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in managing web projects, UI/UX, and SEO-focused projects. Communication Skills: Proactive and transparent communication. Technical Skills: Proficient in Asana/Jira for tracking and task management. Scope Management: Experienced in defining and managing project scopes. Methodologies: Skilled in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management approaches.
