What You Will DoThe Detonator Production Division (DP-DO) is seeking a highly qualified and motivated First Line Manager (FLM) to support important national security missions in the Manufacturing Operations group (DP-3). The Manufacturing Manager 3, FLM will report to the Group Leader and will have the responsibility, authority, and accountability to execute work that supports programmatic milestones and deliverables while setting the standards for professional behavior and operational effectiveness for the team. The FLM will provide management and leadership by leading day to day operations for a team of approximately 20-25 talented Technicians and Shop Floor Control Specialists executing manufacturing operations to produce WR (War Reserve) detonators and cables.The DP Division is the premier Production Agency (PA) assigned to produce War Reserve (WR) detonators for our nation's nuclear stockpile security mission. The Division is part of LANL's Weapons Production Directorate. DP is comprised of a team of motivated, highly skilled technical and operational support staff working in an integrated format.
