What You Will DoWe are currently looking for an experienced .NET software developer to join our team in support of the Chemistry division where you will develop and maintain a variety of applications that have impacts across the entire laboratory. The division provides essential capabilities including analytical chemistry and measurement science; physical chemistry and molecular spectroscopy; isotope and actinide science; nuclear and radiochemistry; nanoscience; material processing and characterization; and chemical engineering.Our objective is to deliver reliable, secure, and cost-effective software and applications that meet business and operational needs in support of the LANL mission.You will work on supporting and developing .NET applications for the Chemistry division and it's supporting groups. You must have extensive experience with .NET software development, experience with writing test cases and automated testing, demonstrate knowledge of development tools and processes as well as the ability to architect state-of-the-art web and mobile solutions. Multi-tasking and excellent organizational skills are a must in this position.What You NeedMinimum Job Requirements:

Experience with .NET Core 6+ or similar

Experience performing automated/manual testing using for .NET (including Playwright and similar automated testing tools).

Experience with Test Case planning, writing, execution, automation, defect filing and reporting.

Experience with the full software developed lifecycle.

Experience with relational databases, such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or similar.

Education/Experience:Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 8 years related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation. At this level, post graduate course work may be desirable.Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Blazor.

Relational database experience MS SQL Server 2016+ Experience with Entity Framework and LINQ

Good aptitude & communication

Experience using Git version control

Experience using secure coding practices.

Work Environment:Work Location: The work location for this position has the potential for remote work. Remote work is defined as working offsite that is greater than 2 hours of the Laboratory location. Reporting onsite may be periodically necessary. All work locations are at the discretion of management.Position commitment: Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory. If an employee has not served the time required, they may only apply for Laboratory jobs with the documented approval of their Division Leader.
