Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Estimator to join our talented team. The ideal individual will be a strong communicator, collaborative team player, and possess a solid foundation in both estimating and construction cost management.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design.Supporting client land acquisitions.Delivering and presenting updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones.Reviewing proposed design changes and new technologies and preparing estimates within appropriate accuracy levels.Understanding design stages and estimate levels.Providing commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering exercises.Preparing cash commit forecasts for the construction lifecycle.Working collaboratively with stakeholders in the preparation of estimates and cost plans.Analyzing labor markets and cost drivers such as unions and taxes.Supporting clients with monthly cost reporting and presentations.Delivering Life Cycle Costing models.Benchmarking integration to ensure accurate data capture.Managing and monitoring project costs throughout the project lifecycle, including budget development, cost tracking, forecasting, change management, and cost reporting.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role and must be adhered to where applicable.
