As the Production Manager at our Fiberon Brand recycling facility with approximately 100 employees (5 direct reports) operating 24/7, you will guide and manage the operations team in developing and executing processes to achieve facility-wide goals. You will be responsible for driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while leveraging data to support continuous improvement efforts. This is a fully onsite, day shift role, typically working 6:45 AM to 4:30 PM, overseeing two production lines and managing a team of 40+ employees across four 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 operation.You will plan and prioritize work to meet organizational goals, balancing capacity to demand, managing labor, and building a high-performing, diverse team. Strong communication skills are essential as you tailor messages to various audiences and foster a culture of honesty, integrity, and trust. You will instill accountability by holding yourself and others responsible for commitments, making sound decisions under pressure, and driving results even in challenging situations.Additionally, you will build and engage teams by creating a motivating environment, championing safety initiatives, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Your success will be measured by your ability to manage change, streamline processes, and apply lean manufacturing principles.The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering or a related field, with 7+ years of engineering and management experience in manufacturing organizations.
