Ranch Hand (non-riding) position available 25-30 hours per week at. We are looking for an employee to join our staff at our horse rescue facility that is a self-starter and can work with little supervision. We are located outside of Cerrillos, NM and we are a smoke free and drug free facility.
Daily duties include but are not limited to the following:
Feeding, mucking and watering horses.
Additional duties as needed: painting, fencing, weed control and general light facility maintenance.
Requirements:
Honest and reliable.
Willing to work weekends and holidays when they fall on your scheduled days.
Able to lift and load approx. thirty-five 65# hay bales and about three 50# bags of feed per day and be on your feet for the majority of the day.
Reliable transportation in all weather conditions.
Detail oriented.
Able to interact well with people.
A team player.
Horse experience is a plus but we will train the right person.
Employment is contingent on passing a Background Check.
