Downtown Santa Fe Art Gallery looking for Part Time sales associate to work Mondays and Tuesdays 10am-5/6pm as well as occasionally during busy times and help at occasional private evening events. Parking included.
Duties:
1. Provide professional, consultative sales assistance to clients.
2. Assist clients with their art purchases.
3. Assisting gallery owners and gallery director as needed/tasked.
4. Noting weekly sales.
5. Light packing and shipping as needed.
6. Light Social Media posting as needed.
7. Keeping the gallery looking its best: light vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, organizing, merchandising as needed.
Qualifications:
1. This is a high-end gallery so an applicant must present themselves in a professional manner and be able to work confidently with VIP clientele.
2. The candidate must be comfortable with occasionally working by themselves in the gallery.
3. The candidate must be friendly and process excellent communication skills in face-to-face interactions, over the phone and via email.
4. Knowledge of Fine Art, Ceramics, Glass Art, and Jewelry is a plus.
5. Must be a lover of art and be able to enthusiastically share that passion with clients.
6. Background in high-end retail/luxury sales preferred.
7. Social media marketing experience a plus.
8. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Square sales/inventory/website a plus.
9. Reliability is a must- we’re searching for dedication and longevity in this position.
