As part of the Actuarial Systems team, this role is responsible for developing, testing, and supporting data solutions that enable actuarial modelling, reporting, and downstream business processes. Working across Microsoft SQL Server and Azure platforms, you will design and build production-ready data integration solutions, develop reconciliation and validation reporting, maintain database environments, and provide operational support for critical production processes.This position is suited to a highly skilled technical specialist who can manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision. In addition to hands-on development and support work, you will help shape development standards and best practices, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement while collaborating closely with team members across project and operational delivery.In this role you will:Design, build, test and implement Actuarial data systems and processes, integrating primarily with the TAL Data Platform, Prophet Enterprise platform and TAL Finance Platform.Assist with implementation of accounting standards AASB17, business planning solution changes and Finance reporting platform.Ensure that delivered products are secure, reliable, usable, efficient, effective and, where required, highly available and scalable.Develop technical designs for step-changes in the products.Ensure quality of code and adherence to platform frameworks and guidelines through code reviews and peer education.
