Description Rachel Miller is partnering with a growing company in Albany, NY! We are on the lookout for a meticulous Billing Clerk to become a part of our team. The Billing Clerk will be instrumental in managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and addressing customer queries. The role will also entail ensuring the accuracy of customer credit records and taking the necessary actions pertaining to customer accounts. This opportunity is based in Albany, New York.Responsibilities: Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications Maintenance of precise records related to customer credit Resolution of customer inquiries in a timely manner Monitoring of customer accounts and execution of appropriate actions Production and editing of approved prebills Finalizing final bills and making necessary modifications Overseeing write-offs and other adjustments on WIPs and bills Assisting in the reconciliation of discrepancies regarding clients' billing Participating in month-end closing operations Receiving client payments either in person or over the phoneRequirements Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in Accounting is Preferred Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential. Must have knowledge of Computerized Billing. Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM is necessary. Ability to work with Epic Software is a must. Knowledge of About Time software is required. Proficiency in various Accounting Functions is needed. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial. Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
