Req Number 143707Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Benefits Specialist to support their HR team. In this role, you will collaborate with the Assistant Manager to design, develop, and administer comprehensive employee health and welfare programs. You will also be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for our multi-state workforce and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate in designing and administering health insurance, retirement plans, leave management, and other employee benefits programs.

Lead Open Enrollment initiatives and manage the employee onboarding process.

Stay updated with industry trends to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits programs.

Prepare annual benefits budgets and conduct benefit analyses, reporting, and projections.

Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits and provide timely responses.

Manage the leave process for FMLA, ADA, STD, and LTD in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Develop and execute a robust Employee Wellness Program and organize wellness events.

Partake in regulatory audits and filings, ensuring compliance across all areas of employee benefits and payroll.

Process bi-weekly payroll accurately, serving as a contact for payroll-related questions and supporting audit requests.

Introduce new benefits programs and payroll technologies to enhance employee experience and process efficiency.

Foster employee engagement through exceptional service, support, and feedback sessions.

Collaborate with Learning & Development and Diversity & Inclusion teams to promote equitable and inclusive benefits offerings.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report creation and data analysis.

Familiarity with HCMS (preferably UKG Pro) and data analysis tools is preferred.

Relevant certifications such as CEBS, CPP, SHRM, and/or PHR are a plus.
