We offer our employees the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills throughout their careers with us, and we empower each person to make a meaningful contribution toward healthy outcomes for our customers.Job Opening: Pharmacist ManagerWorksite Location: 1179 Vestal Ave Suite 2, Binghamton, NY 13903Status: Full-timeWork Schedule: Rotating schedule inclusive of business hours Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 6:00pm, weekend shifts and on call as needed.As a business leader, this position is accountable for the exceptional care of our customers by providing personal pharmacy services and managing all aspects of pharmacy operations and conducting prescription transactions from dispensing, billing, adjudication and sale of the product. Serving patients and facilities in central New York, the Pharmacist Manager's typical duties and responsibilities also include:

Oversees financial performance of the pharmacy location including management of inventory, sales, payroll, expenses and maximizing claim reimbursement

Develops and implements action plans to enhance the financial viability and efficiencies of the pharmacy location

Maintains high customer service levels by identifying and resolving problems

Performance management and hiring of pharmacy staff including clinicians, technicians and drivers

Conducts account management meetings, conference calls for clients to ensure pharmacy is meeting the needs of each customer/account

Implements and enforces operational best practices within the pharmacy location.

Ensure staff is properly trained for job functions, including customer service, problem and complaint resolution, management of patient profiles.

Conducts and documents team meetings with pharmacy staff to communicate pertinent information.

Ensures all RX and OTC items leaving the pharmacy are accurate, complete and payment has successfully been secured

Oversees financial performance including management of inventory, sales, payroll, expenses, and maximizing claim reimbursement

New York Pharmacist licensure, active and in good standing required

Demonstrated experience in pharmacy operations and management required

At least 5 years of experience in institutional pharmacy to include skilled care and assisted living, and demonstrated knowledge of the field required

Working knowledge f QS1 and Docutrak systems a plus

Working knowledge of Automated pharmacy systems such as Parata and Dispill preferred

Must be available to support a 24/7 operation by working nights, weekends, and on-call as needed
