NYS DOE Clinical laboratory technician/technologist full license upon hire OR clinical laboratory technologist, limited permit required not necessarily prior to hire, however prior to starting. If working with laboratory technician limited permit, must obtain full licensure within 9 months of hire. If a hired employee meets the NYS DOE qualifications for a limited or full license, however, the official limited or full license will be delayed at NYS DOE due to processing time, KHL will allow the employee to start training with a non-licensed LIS security that does not allow the reporting of results.
