Join us at MacLean-Fogg as we build on our legacy of excellence and shape the future of manufacturing.Title: Maintenance - Advanced Skills Labor Grade: 10 Revision: A Revision Date: 1/1/2024 Responsibilities 1 Maintain a safe and clean work area per 6S standards. 2 Refer unusual or unsafe conditions to supervisor. 3 Know appropriate level of shop math as required. 4 Read and understand blueprints. 5 Know basic PLC and advanced machine controls. 6 Must have completed all outside studies per training program. 7 Have a complete set of the tools of the trade. 8 Must know operation of and how to start, run, stop & shutdown all production machines, equipment and support systems. 9 Use tool room equipment. 10 Perform maintenance and repair all production machines, equipment and support systems. 11 Make advanced electrical repairs. 12 Make advanced hydraulic repairs. 13 Do advanced welding (gas and electric). 14 Make clutch and bearing repairs. 15 Build and modify part chutes. 16 Fabricate sheet metal. 17 Layout and install plumbing. 18 Fabricate and fit bearings. 19 Scrape ways. 20 Maintain building and grounds. 21 Perform outside seasonal duties such as: sweeping, picking up of trash, debris and leaves, clear snow (using snow plow, snow blower and shovel) and salt. 22 Recognize problems, correct them and make recommendations on how to prevent them to your supervisor or support engineer.
