Precipart, located in Farmingdale, NY, is looking for a Customer Accounts Manager who will manage customer purchase orders through delivery process. In this position, you will manage customer accounts in terms of orders, quotations, demand planning, contracted inventory oversight, and impact on customer satisfaction measurement. The Customer Accounts Manager also provides operational oversight and mentoring to the Customer Accounts Coordinators and Specialists. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversee customer schedules and monitor our commitment dates against customer requirements
Receive customer PO's and perform a commercial contract review of quotation vs customer PO. Resolve discrepancies (if any)
Process customer purchase orders, inquiries, and/or customer issues related to orders
Process purchase orders and/or manufacturing orders for outsourced products
Oversee delivery execution and logistics of customer orders and purchase/manufacturing orders to meet customer demand
Gather and communicate, externally and internally, information pertaining to changes to existing orders
Track order activity and communicate any potential delivery problems
Update internal systems and customer portals in accordance with changes
Quickly and effectively resolve customer or production issues, and provide timely communication to customers on status and resolution
Perform monthly account review – customer forecast vs backlog and manufacturing/purchase orders
Understand customers measurements of Precipart, i.e. on time delivery to request date, on time delivery to promise date, etc. Work to make sure Precipart is aligned with measurements, and performing at the highest standard
Run customer specific reports and share data with customers
Provide pricing, inventory availability and production schedule information to customers
Review contractual inventory amounts required in stock per customer. Adjust discretionary amounts based on future projections, on time delivery and changes to delivery dates.
Perform project work as assigned
Monitor price levels and cost levels for existing programs, including history, and making recommendations/working with account manager on future price increases/cost decreases.
Maintain the ongoing relationship with a large complex customer and sales staff utilizing knowledge of products, logistics, production planning, and inventory management
Project future demand beyond supplied forecast
Manage multiple large, complex programs
Oversee management/training of program coordinators and program specialists as needed
Program management responsibilities for new product introductions
Perform other duties as assigned
Responsible for conforming with the company’s quality management system requirements, as well as contributing to its overall effectiveness, and the ultimate goals of customer satisfaction, product compliance and ethical practices/behavior.
Mentor key department staff to promote development for the purpose of individual’s personal growth, improved decision making and potential succession planning identification in support of company objectives and group goals.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / EDUCATION
A minimum of 6 years related work experience in the manufacturing industry
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook
Proven customer focused ability and relationship building experience
Must possess strong analytical and forecasting skills

Salary Range: $68,000 to $85,000 annually
