We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team for interior and exterior residential projects in and around Dutchess County. We specialize in high-end renovations requiring high-quality painting work and the ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at various heights while following all safety protocols. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience with sprayers and other specialized painting tools is a plus. Must have own transportation.
Responsibilities
Prepare job sites, including building scaffolding, covering fixtures, and protecting surfaces.
Prep walls and other surfaces by scraping, sanding, and repairing as needed.
Patch cracks and holes with appropriate materials (e.g., tape and compound).
Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
Deliver clean, precise, and professional results.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a professional painter.
Proficiency with a variety of tools (brushes, rollers, caulking guns, sprayers, etc.).
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Excellent balance and manual dexterity for working on scaffolding and ladders.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
