Position InformationLocations: Brewster, NY; Binghamton, NY; Ithaca, NY; Oneonta, NY; Mechanicville, NY; Plattsburgh, NY; or Liberty, NYPay Range: The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $83,800 - $115,200.Schedule: OfficeSummary:Develop and lead a team of Project Managers, Schedulers, Budget Analysts and support staff to deliver major capital projects and programs for the NYSEG and RG&E companies.Lead integration of best practices across the companies in accordance with Avangrid's standard practices.Ensure project resources have the correct toolsets and processes in place and that all relevant staff is trained and equipped to successfully deliver their work.Position is responsible for the delivery of business and regulatory requirements within the Electric Operations Organization.This position will assign a storm role and be expected to support Avangrid in storm restoration efforts. This includes travel throughout Avangrid as needed.Job Requirements:Education & Experience Required:Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field. Associates Degree with 10+ years experience.3-5 years relevant experience.Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.Demonstrated experience in leading large teams.Experience leading implementation of complexinitiatives/projects.Demonstrated understanding of utility operations, stakeholders,and customer interaction.Direct experience in business case development and benefitscapture.Demonstrated experience in the execution of strategic objectives.Proven track record of achieving results in high pressure andhigh profile assignments.Skills/Abilities:Energizing leader that possesses strong interpersonalcommunication and facilitation skills, be detail-oriented, thorough andresults-focused.Self-starter able to work well in new and undefined environments.Strong skills in following up and following through with actionitems and dependencies.Adept at putting together business cases to support project andprogram objectives.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, includingformal presentation skills.Possess the ability to work across organizational lines withinthe company and influence key internal executives and line managers.Must be able to support and drive implementation of the agreed-upon strategies.Flexible and willing to step up to take on tasks beyond a jobdescription as required.Lead the development of organizational metrics and reportingframeworks.Drive a practice of continuous improvement - using data to driveconstant improvement efficiency.Proven track record of being a strong team player with a resultsoriented attitude.Utilization of risk management to ensure achievement of results.Proven ability to work within a matrix environment, includinggeographically dispersed teams.Competency Requirements:It is preferred that for this job, the candidate fulfills the requirements in terms of levels indicated below.1.
