Position SummaryLeading with humanity, values-based leadership, and an insatiable sense of curiosity, the selected candidate will aim to secure immediate-impact gifts, typically of $5,000 to $100,000. Manage the volunteer reunion committee for four to five (4-5) reunion classes and the 3L class gift campaign. Provide guidance in the recruitment of reunion class committee members and establishing class fundraising and participation goals. Implement strategic plans for achieving goals. Prioritizing a portfolio of 500, completes 175+ cultivation, solicitation and stewardship visits each year (in-person, Zoom, phone, etc.) with individuals both within and outside of Reunion. Maintain accurate information within fundraising database as well as complete documentation/follow-up for prospect strategies. Collaborate with NYU School of Law research team to identify and evaluate prospects for major gifts pools.QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:2-3 years' relevant experience. Should include experience in fundraising, face-to-face solicitation, cultivation and stewardship of donors.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Insatiable sense of curiosity, growth mindset, highest degree of integrity, and humility. Strong writing, public speaking, interpersonal/organizational skills, empathy and compassion. Demonstrated ability to conduct professional presentations via phone and in person. Ability to take initiative, integrate feedback, and collaborate exceedingly well with others.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel), Google (Docs and Drive), business messaging apps, such as Slack, and prospect management databases (Blackbaud, Advance), volunteer management/recruitment.Additional InformationIn compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $80,000.00.
