Job DescriptionThe Associate Director of Digital Direct Response and Strategy (AD)will be responsible for the oversight and development of MSK’s online digital fundraising program. S/he/they will manage a robust online donor program, and be tasked with creating a lead generation program. The AD reports to the Senior Director, managing one-full time staff in addition to external consultants, and will look to build a team to support donor growth. The position collaborates closely within the Digital Strategy & Marketing team, and works in partnership with the Web Team to ensure alignment. This is an exciting time to join the Development Department. As MSK enters its next Campaign, the online donor program will be tasked with growing the donor base, and feeding the major gift pipeline. You will: The AD’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to - Providing strategy for digital fundraising across programs and build strategies for sustainable growth
Creating and executing annual donor and lead generation plans, along with KPIs
Managing external consultants
Collaborating with our direct mail colleagues to share information and explore value of integrated direct response campaigns
Exploring tactics to maximize conversion, revenue, and retention
Creating future acquisition strategies and donor upgrade programs
Identifying new tools to maximize donor touchpoints
Collaborating with internal teams on digital best practices, serve as thought-leader and provide industry experience
You have:
At least 8 years of relevant work experience
5 years or more working in non-profit sector
Proven track record of developing successful donor and/or lead generation programs, resulting in meeting or exceeding goals
Exceptional analytical skills
Deep knowledge of digital landscape and tools as it relates to fundraising
Familiarity with Luminate Online and its capabilities
Ability to build consensus across departments
