The ideal candidate will be responsible forProcessing all incoming resumes; sending appropriate correspondence to candidates and headhuntersMaintaining employment application database and firm recruiting files for all candidates; assembling on-campus interviewer packetsProcessing check requests, reimbursement requests, and sponsorship forms for various recruiting eventsAssisting with staffing summer associate and recruiting events as necessaryCoordinating interviews for office legal staff applicantsAssisting with planning and coordinating summer associate program; assisting with monitoring and tracking summer associate assignment evaluationsThe successful candidate will demonstrateA bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and ExcelAbility to communicate in both oral and written form, including the ability to compose, edit and proo routine business correspondenceAbility to maintain tracking system for candidates with offersStrong focus on client service and responsivenessSelf-starter who can manage priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate with other team members across the firmPay Range for Candidates in New York City:$53,000 - $67,000 (min of full range rounded down - max of target) per yearThe range provided is the minimum and maximum salary that Venable in good faith believes at the time of this posting that it is willing to pay for the advertised position.
