As a Senior Business Support Associate within the Middle Office Commercial Banking team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing a team of Executive Administrative staff. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our administrative support aligns seamlessly with the business objectives, delivering exceptional service while maintaining stringent governance and compliance standards.Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Administrative Professionals, ensuring superior administrative coverage and support to the business units.
Conduct regular strategic business reviews and manage stakeholder relationships, changes to business coverage, aligning support functions with business priorities and objectives.
Develop and nurture top talent within the team through effective coaching, training, and performance development
Partner with our Client Engagement/Events and Sponsorship teams. Be a strong subject matter expert for Admins to support local event activity, training, and ongoing event support. Ensure oversight for local control and reporting activities such as RSVPs in Catalyst, MarCom, ticketing, local event management and compliance with Commercial BankMarketing standards, Confluence intake, and defined best practices.
Partner with various functional groups including Recruiting, Employee Relations, Marketing, Sponsorships and Donations teams, and Technology, fostering collaboration and ensuring consistency in business practices and service delivery.
Independently own all facets of the performance management process, ensuring thorough completion of all firm requirements promptly.
Drive thought leadership initiatives to continuously improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead and support projects and initiatives for the Administrative Management team, contributing to the business's overall success.
Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Proven leadership experience, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams (preferred but not required).
Strong natural people leader and role model with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions and provide clear messaging across all organizational levels.
Control orientation with a focus on enforcing a dynamic control/compliance environment and mitigating risks in business processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant applications.
Highly adaptive to integrating and using new technologies to improve business operations.
Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive results independently.
