Our client, a mid-size law firm located in midtown Manhattan, is seeking a Certificate Control Specialist to join their team. As a Certificate Control Specialist, you will be part of the Certificates Control Department supporting the firm's clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, computer, administrative, written/oral communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail.Job Title: Certificate Control SpecialistLocation: New York, NYPay Range: $40,000What's the Job?
Proo and evaluate various Certificates of Registration, Renewal, Change of Address and Assignment for possible errors or discrepancies
Scan and upload same to database and update related database records
Prepare and send transmittal letters to client enclosing original Documents and advising as to renewal/maintenance dates and use requirements
Review docketed files, follow up, docket and monitor deadlines
Cross-check colleagues’ work prior to dispatching to clients
What's Needed?
Min College GPA 3.2
Relevant and substantive work experience and/or internships
Excellent analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, computer, administrative, written/oral communication skills
Must be highly proficient in Word
High level of attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced, demanding and deadline driven environment
